Are You Asleep Yet?

This entertaining and innovative show has been written and designed especially for Hong Kong students. Performed by professional actors and featuring imaginative sets and costumes, students will have the opportunity to encounter contemporary poetry in a unique, interactive way.  It will be targeting Primary 3-6, with content adapted to suit the target students. Each show will be 50 minutes long, with a maximum capacity of 150 children per performance. 

 

To make it more child friendly for our audience, the performance is dramatized in a storyline in which a brother and sister use props, costume pieces and their imaginations over the course of a sleepless night. It will feature poems that are both familiar and new to Hong Kong students. Some have been extensively used in Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association's Speech Festival, while others have never been professionally performed.
