Transformation Through Creativity
Since 2017
‘Transformation Through Creativity’ (TTC) is S4A’s highly experiential and interactive in-school drama training programme. Since 2017, the programme is funded by Cultural, Sports and Tourism Bureau (formally known as HAB), and from 2018 until 2023, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust funded this project through Jockey Club "Destiny In Ourselves" Youth Drama Programme and Jockey Club "All The World's Our Stage" Shakespeare Youth Drama Programme. Each year one of Shakespeare’s plays is shortened and adapted to make it accessible, understandable and most of all enjoyable for Primary and Secondary students throughout Hong Kong. This is progressive arts at its best by actively using the medium of drama, to inspire young people to challenge and build upon their communication, self-awareness, and creativity as well as their inter and intrapersonal skills. With our professional drama tutors at the helm, we aim to transform and build upon a young person’s character and self-esteem to nurture them in a safe environment to become confident, introspective young people who are empowered to utilise these skills in all areas of their lives.
