WHAT IS SHAKESPEARE SHOWTIME?

The Project is a 1-year free English drama programme to all primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong. Students will be experiencing an hour of English drama performance performed by professional actors, followed by a post-performance workshop, while teachers will receive an hour of training workshop exploring the relationship between drama and teaching.

After the school touring show, 10 schools will be selected to receive a 24-hour Shakespearean drama training course offered to their students from October 2024 – March 2025, in which students will have their final performance in a professional theatre during ‘Shake Fest’, a 9-day Shakespeare English Drama Festival in March 2025.
