School Touring Show

Shakespeare4All's renowned and long-time running school touring project, "1930s' Radio Play" interactive school touring show project has come to a completion in October 2022. The touring project started in 2015, since then, S4A has been travelling to 15-20 primary/secondary schools every year to perform the show, facilitating approximately 150 students of 8-15 years old at each show.

In each year, "1930s' Radio Play", a Shakespearean classic is retold in modern English and performed by professional native English actors with the overarching aim to enhance learners' English language proficiency, personal and intellectual development, social skills and cultural understandings. Over the years, we have adapted several Shakespearean plays into this project, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet. Thank you for all the schools that enjoyed our "1930s Radio Play" peformances in the past 8 years. In the near future, S4A will be creating and bringing to your schools a brand new touring show project. See you at the schools' stages soon again!
