Shakespeare-In-Action 2024/2025 Joint-school Finale Performance
8 schools around Hong Kong will be performing William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
Much Ado About Nothing is a delightful comedy written by Shakespeare in around 1598, which follows the romantic entanglements of two couples. The play revolves around the witty exchanges between Beatrice and Benedick, who initially profess to despise each other but ultimately fall in love. Meanwhile, the young lovers Claudio and Hero's relationship face obstacles due to deception and misunderstandings orchestrated by the villainous Don John. As the characters navigate love, jealousy and mistaken identities, the play ends in a joyous celebration of love triumphing over adversity.
