What is The Gala Production?  週年匯演是什麼？

Every young person has a story worth telling. At Shakespeare4All, we believe in giving every child - from every background - the chance to shine through drama.

每一位年輕人，都有一個值得被聽見的故事。 在香港小莎翁，我們相信，不論背景，每個孩子都值得擁有透過戲劇綻放光芒的機會。

The Gala Production is a transformative 6-week journey that brings together over 60 young people to rehearse and perform a full-scale Shakespeare play in English. With live orchestral music, stunning costumes, and professional lighting, the experience ends in three public performances at a real theatre. Led by a team of theatre professionals, you will build confidence, express creativity, and make lasting friendships. Best of all, this unique opportunity is completely free and open to all young people in Hong Kong aged 8 to 16.

週年匯演是一個為期6星期的蛻變旅程，超過60名年輕人聚集一起排練並以英語演出一部完整的莎士比亞戲目。你將在現場管弦樂團伴奏、華麗服裝和專業燈光配合下，於正規劇院裡以3場公開演出結束這趟戲劇旅程。在一群專業劇場人士的帶領下，你將建立自信心，發揮創意，並收獲恆久的友誼。活動費用全免，開放予在香港所有年齡介乎8歲至16歲的年輕人。

Eligibility 參加資格

• Aged 8-16

• Must be able to communicate in simple English (Cantonese support available from the creative and admin teams)

• Interested and enthusiastic about performing on stage

• 8至16歲

• 能以基本英語溝通（創作及行政團隊可提供廣東話支援）

• 對舞台表演感興趣並充滿熱情

Story background of The Gala Production 2026 ‘As You Like It: Tales from Olympus’

Step into a world where gods command the skies and mortals challenge fate.

This year’s ‘As You Like It’ reimagines Shakespeare’s timeless comedy through the lens of Greek mythology, where temples echo with prophecy, and divine mischief is never far behind. Inspired by legendary figures like Zeus, Hercules, Poseidon, and Hades, our story unfolds in a mythical landscape where the Forest of Arden becomes a realm of exile, transformation, and wonder.

As gods and mortals collide, we delve into powerful opposites—chaos and order, love and conflict, destiny and free will—drawing from the rich tapestry of myth to explore the eternal questions of identity and change.

A bold, magical journey through the world of Olympus and beyond, this is ‘As You Like It’ like you’ve never seen it before.

踏入一個眾神掌管天界，凡人挑戰命運的世界。

今年的《如你所願》以希臘神話的視角重塑莎士比亞永恆喜劇，在這裡，預言在神殿迴盪，神靈的捉弄無處不在。受宙斯、海格力斯、波賽頓和黑帝斯等神話人物啟發，我們的故事將在神秘的國度展開，亞登森林幻化成流亡、蛻變與奇妙的領域。

當眾神遇上凡人，激發我們對強烈對立面的探討：混亂與秩序、愛與衝突、天命與自由意志 - 汲取自源遠流長的神話傳說，我們探索關於身份和轉變的永恆課題。

這是一段無畏而魔幻的旅程，穿越奧林匹斯及其更遙遠的世界，一個你前所未見的《如你所願》。
