Shakespeare4All (S4A) has always endeavoured to provide a platform for S4A alumni to sustain their interest in learning Shakespearean drama. Since 2011, we have been able to offer the Easter Intensive Individual’s Classes to alumni who are passionate about Shakespeare and drama but who are unable to gain such exposure in their schools.

In 2012, the Easter Intensive Individual Class will feature the classic tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet. The heartbreaking and timeless story follows the star-crossed lovers whose love was opposed by their families. Despite the opposition and the enormous obstacles, the lovers were determined to pursue their passion for each other.

To celebrate the first ever S4A Learning & Participation Festival organised by S4A in association with Shakespeare’s The Globe Theatre London, the participants of the 2012 Easter Individual’s Classes will perform at the Festival showcase* in May 2012 in CA Hall Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre professional theatre. They will have the invaluable opportunity to receive feedback on their learning and showcase from The Globe educator.

(* Subject to receiving sufficient enrolment numbers and commitment from all to enable this performance event to take place. Participants will perform selected scenes in the case of insufficient enrolment).
